Sense - Will has a metal sense in two...ahem...senses of the word. Firstly, he can detect any piece of metal in a kilometer radius if he really really pushes himself. Average everyday sense when he's not trying would be approximately a 30ft radius. The other type of metal sense he has is when he is crafting with metal. He can sense what a piece of metal is like. Where it might need to be heated, where it might need treating, where it might need reinforcing. It's like that old joke with the plumber, 7 dollars wear and tear on the hammer, 300 dollars to know where to hit the pipe.
Flow - Will can manipulate metal to move with his mind. How it moves depends on the piece of metal. Sometimes it will move in jagged edges, sometimes it will flow like water. What form it takes depends on Will's affinity with the type of metal.
Personality - Somehow, he can sense a sort of personality from the metal. It's just molecular affinity, but the way it shows up can give a sense of it being the essence of the metal's spirit. How fast it manipulates, and what form he can manipulate it into depends on his affinity with the type of metal.
Armoured Affinity - He currently is unaware this ability exists. His subconscious will reach out to any nearby metal when he's in danger, and it will manipulate to protect him in different ways. It is completely subconscious, and he essentially sees it as the metal reaching out to protect him because it likes him.

SKILLS:
Blacksmith - It's a skill passed down through generations in his family. Even without his metal manipulation powers, he could still make a very fine piece of armour or weaponry.
Gunsmith - Because of his affinity with metal, and his quick learning, he was able to go beyond his family's blacksmithing and learn the trade as a gunsmith from a master gunsmith.
Singing - William doesn't use it too often, but he has an excellent singing voice and can also rap pretty well. A side effect of being a bored teenager left alone in a boarding school.
Dancing - He can waltz and salsa with the best of them, something that his parents made him do so he would be prepared for the life of a socialite. However, he took to it more than they expected and learned more dance styles. He's fairly well rounded and it made him quite popular in high school.

Overexertion - If he overexerts the ability other than a sense of where to hit and heat the metal, he gets headaches to start with. If he continues, it can turn into nosebleeds. Finally, if he keeps on overexerting himself, he can just go unconscious. Please note, the ability of an enhanced blacksmith and knowing where to work the metal, is an ability he has exercised overtime. It is also a low exertion ability.
Alcohol - He was a party boy for a good part of his life. He has a habit of drinking when he's stressed. Or to celebrate. It's turned him into...well he wouldn't describe himself as an alcoholic exactly. But isn't that telling? It's getting to the point where it's disruptive to his life.

Appearance
GENERAL: Will is six foot one inches tall with a very fit body type. His core and biceps are well toned from his time as a blacksmith. He wears his brown hair relatively short and his brown eyes carry the sharpness of taking in his surroundings relatively quickly. His fashion sense is sort of eclectic. It can be anything from regular metal armor, to a suit, to a bandanna and a ripped sleeveless shirt. He doesn't really have one particular style he follows, it's whatever he's comfortable wearing. What he looks like to other people really doesn't matter to him very much. He will occasionally think about it on special occasions, but he could also just...forget to. Oddly enough, he is also the sort of person who can pull off anything. So fortunately for him, his eclectic sense of fashion doesn't matter at all, since he still pulls it off perfectly fine.

History
William was born in South Korea to Ha-Jun and Alix Kang in 1998. Korean ages give a child a full year of life upon their birth. However, as William has lived in three different countries and two of them have been English speaking, ages mentioned will be counted in English from this point onward. His family was unusual in many ways. For example, his mother Alix was from England. Her family was decently well off financially. However, the Kangs had an even higher net worth, known as reliable blacksmiths through the generations. Selling their weapons as functional art inspired by history. Another way they were unusual was number of children. William was the third of four children. His eldest brother, Duri, was raised as the heir to the family craft and business. His eldest sister, Haneul, raised to assist the family, a role she always struggled against. Then there was William, and his younger sister Alix, named after their mother.
William was raised in learning about the family business just like his brother, but the expectation was never to take over the family. Until he started showing more promise in the craft than his brother did. That caused internal conflict. But it didn't come to a head until he truly started showing promise when he was fourteen. This was the year the family decided to send William to a boarding school in England. It was a good way to defuse the tension. Unfortunately for Duri, William's talent wasn't to be snuffed out. While in England, a gunsmith who was an old friend of William's mother, saw William's potential in working with metal. And suddenly just like that, William was apprenticed to a gunsmith while he was still in high school.
