Morgan staggered down the hall of the college, blood trickling down from a small cut on her forehead, staining the padding under her armor. Dirty and stained from her battle, she peeled and discarded parts of her gear off. After the massive strike she'd taken to her head, she knew she'd have to have Ardeen repair her helmet again. It had kept her alive, but she was still feeling the aftermath of the strike. Everything felt like it was in a fog.
It didn't feel like something she needed to go to the Factory for, but she had the presence of mind to know that she shouldn't just go home and go to sleep. She needed someone to stay up with her, keep an eye on her, make sure she didn't have a concussion. She'd just ask Lucian to do that, but he was overseas taking care of some things for her parents. That left one person she could think of that could help her, and that was Professor Black. She just hoped that he was in the office this late.
"Professor... Professor Black? Are you here?"
She tried the door to his office, jiggling the locked handle, sighing when it didn't move. "Damnit..."
She leaned against the door, put her back to it, and slid down until she was sitting on the floor. "Can't... can't go to sleep... But I'm so tired..."
Morgan tried to jump to her feet in response to a noise she heard, Blutiren appearing in her hand, but she couldn't keep her balance. Swaying back and forth, it was clear she wasn't about to defend herself against whoever this was. All she could hope was whoever it was would be willing to help her, and not be out to hurt her. "Hello? Professor Black? Whoever you are, can, can you help me? Please?"
She gave into the swaying and collapsed on the floor again in a clatter of the armor pieces she was still wearing, still unsure if it was just sheer exhaustion or the head injury that was giving her trouble. "..Please?"
