When someone was sent to retrieve Jesse Creed better known as Savage thoughts usually thought were: why? Am I entering a murder hobos room? How much blood will there be? Why? However what they found was almost hysterically LESS than they expected, but surprised was the most common reaction when they entered the giant cat's room within the Cabal headquarters.
Cabal was home for Savage, his first legit home since his birth they treated him like he was completely normal a feeling totally unknown until they recruited him. Perses offered him his own place fit to be designed any way the large house cat desired...so where most people expected a torture room wrought with fresh blood, instruments of death, and body parts always were surprised to find a room that would thrill every cat and kitten alive....also if those cats were six foot and nine inches!
The room had climb stations that housed tunnels of shaggy carpet, boxes for him to lounge about in or he leapt from. Scratching posts. In a chest in the corner of the room were large cat toys, some had bells, others were fuzzy balls, and some had cat nip. Savage was a fan of the nip. He had a large bed that resembled a cat bed, Savage was also given internet, books, and his own exercise equipment that gave the room a human type appearance. It was a mild contrast to the giant cat's playground. Here at Cabal he was introduced to getting a education, picking up from the 3rd grade where he had quit. Savage had learned to read and write by a tutor, he could count now, and he loved history as the cat like Irishman had seen a little over hundred years of it himself.
With Cabal Savage had found a place that didn't cage him like his own family had, they didn't make him a side attraction like the circus, Perses had seen much more than a weapon like the military did, and though he would never admit it Savage loved it here! Did they love him? Probably not, he was a sadistic killer after all, but they accepted him and treated him very differently. He knew he was a handful but Savage tried to be unionized like the rest of them, he tried to be a team player, and he always tried to follow the rules...
...however that was easier said than done, especially when mentally Savage was merely an animal in thought. He had been grounded since coming back from the attack's, given it was his day off but he exposed himself and had the intention of killing a woman for a meal....a big no no given his nature...Savage had to act like Jesse Creed in public...that was the deal for him to be able to go out...he broke that rule...and had been told that leaving the facility wasn't permitted for a few weeks.
So Savage decided to horde himself inside his cat layer. He was currently hanging upside down from a strong cable attached to the ceiling of his room, the cable was wrapped around his foot and leg. His natural agility and dexterity made it a easy task to use his feet like his hands. As he swung upside down he was reading 'Horton Hears a Who', what was believed to be a smile plastered his cat like face.
Music played a bit loud, 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', and Savage hummed softly...almost like a purr...he was so involved he didn't hear his guest appear...
