When you are little one of the most valuable things that you are taught as a kid that you always remember is to look both ways before you cross the street. Micah still remembered this because every time that he crossed the street it was not the signals that were suppose to guide you on if it was safe or not that he paid attention too. No, like he had learned when he was a kid he would look left, right, and then left again before crossing the street. It was so small but he wondered why being an adult was it still something so crucial to him as a human being?
Then he had to cross a street to get to the conservatory and he knew. It was all so strange how doing something once again so simple made something you had questioned for so long clicked by the action of something else but that was how it always seemed to go. It was true that he had looked through at first before meeting up with the others, through the window like a kid window shopping but it was because he seen this as something entirely else and it was all because he seen color theory in shades and leaves and color theory as always played such a critical sense in his entire existence.
"This is it," he had whispered because for once Micah had not had to go out and search and search and excavate a way to connect them all. It just was a conversation and a click and a chance that he was taking the reigns on. How he would get the memories of Trove's to trigger without actually being the cause he did not know but if Vivian was right it was just going to take a little color and a little patience. He continued to look as he took one step back because he did not want anyone to think that he was attempting to break through in day light or anything.
"This is a door." Well duh, every building had doors but Micah did not mean this actual door. A 'door' to put a key memory into that would unlock a tidal wave of memories that were going to cause every kind of emotion, every kind of pain, and every kind of joy. It was admittedly going to shake up the balance of everything they knew, but not him. Nope Micah was solid enough to handle this because one of them had to be and he knew that Ribbon would not care too, and that Decipher's mind constantly stuck in the five year old frame simply could not and still he was finally content to do so.
