He had lay the ground work and now it was the process of going from ground work, up many a stem and eventually coming out into a bloom of memories which was scary and exciting but it was not something he was backing down from anymore. He was aware of the fact that this in the end would effect him as much and he was finally okay with that for his perception he wanted it dare he say shuffled? Yes, shuffled in a way. Honestly with his first name being Ace it was not hard to figure out that when he was ready as he was now, words like shuffle and card and catalog would become more important. Those three words specifically would become key words standing up among another sea of words that would fall down and while not disappear simply shuffle to the back as long as he could keep it all in tact and right now it felt as if he could so the proceeding had started. He had managed to get to the hotel fine, even if he was hot and sweaty. He was not going to bitch about it though only enjoy the warmth before the splashes of what he was sure in a way would be waves of water and despair in the end because change and memory were only baby steps into growth and painful ones at that. Emotions might end up wrecked, hatred might even be spewed from the lips of confused individuals but memories needed to be flushed in order to go forward. Micah was aware that made it sound like he was going to do something terrible but that was far from the case, he was simply here as the yes man in a way. No one would be harmed in any way he had made sure of that because he did not work like that. Only fun and safety cause it was needed in the days to come, for his own sake as much as hers. None the less he threw his things in the room and made his way out to the back side of the hotel and his lips curved instantly into a smile as he watched the waves. "Yay, water!" he exclaimed as he stood simply watching the waves for the time being. Cae Mire

Her fingers nervously tapped along her ears and eventually made their way down the string as the music played softly and she just found herself immersed in the sounds of the music itself not the words. The sounds behind the words moved along nicely and it helped to calm her so much that she drifted off to sleep not realizing it. Normally she would have took something to relax her but instead of taking medicine she was trying something a little more normal and music seemed to fit. She had no idea how many hours had passed when she felt a tap on her shoulder next she only looked up and it was the pilot telling her that they had arrived. "Okay," she said as she got up and gathered her bags but made sure to keep the music going in her ear as she did so and made her way to check in. As her memories had been playing lately she was still surprised by seeing the small trails of water but it was good. Fresh air for the soul never hurt anyone at least not that she recalled. She rolled her eyes at how messy he had thrown his bags. "Really Micah?" she said as she kicked them in the corner and neatly placed her bags down and made her way out. "I do like the location," she said as she took one of the ear pieces out and looked at him. "Your suggestion of listening to the music instead of taking something really helped," she said as she backed into the room and opened her bag and pulled out a pack of wipes and wiped the ear bud off and made her way back out and went and snaked her way in front of him. It was easier for her to remember that he was still slightly deaf in his left ear when she could stand in front of him as she put the ear bud in his right ear and began to slowly bob her head as she looked at him. "It also gave me a lot of time to think," she said as she still stood there. "I imagine you beating me here first did the same for you." Her tone was calm which she found was better around him. "So where are we starting?" she asked as she finally moved and turned to look at the water but still made sure to remain by him so he could hear the song that was now playing. It was a little more obvious now to tell that the singer was a male with a low tenor voice, knowing her some country artist as she placed her fingers once again along the cord that now seemed to bind them to where they were standing for now. "You know what they say Micah, it's not a real trip until someone gets sand in between their toes." No need to waste time packing shoes when you were pretty sure that you were not going to need them. She turned and placed the other ear bud in his hand and the iPod touch as well. "You can stay up here if you need, I'm going out and see what happens." They had been here before, her memories had told her that just did not tell her why. "Don't wait too long though, memory lane has never looked more welcoming." Micah Nottingham

The view it had him feeling safe which was something he had not been able to say for a while but today he could. He had often found safety important but it often took a back seat to a lot of other things he found he had going on but being here and seeing it, smelling the water had him feeling as warm as a newborn whom had just discovered what a blanket was. He even barely heard her at first and it was not until she was in front of him that he really took it in. The scenery, him alone, her alone. His safety felt a little rattled but he was still okay enough to press on. His eyes lit up as he listened to the music but his head did not move much. "Honestly I did not need that much time to think. My idea of how this will go and how it will actually turn out has ran so many scenarios that I am completely winging it. The location was most important is all or will be for now it's nothing to be impressed by. He did let out a breath when she moved and spoke. "Doesn't matter where we start it all kind of circles back around to the same place," he said. He let out a disgusted sigh when she spoke about sand between the toes. "Toes are nasty literally. Attached to your feet and no one ever knows if you ever really get them clean so put sand in them if you want I will politely pass." He watched as she put the other ear bud in his ear and his eyes went directly to her lips as she began to talk so he could understand what she was saying. He slowly shrugged and stepped back as he watched her because he was simply curious about what made her think that anything like this could be memory lane. He lifted his shirt up revealing the "breathe" tattoo that laid across his back. It was nice, and newly redone as well as he felt the buds drop out of his ears and that was fine. The sounds of music had gotten her here which was where he wanted her now came the hard part, incorporating her wisdom and natural green thumb along the sands as they walked without causing too many of her memories cascade down and out at once. He finally caught up with her and spoke. "It's a big place if it is a version of memory lane as you suggest there must be a lot here or at least a few but each is important." Cae Mire

She was so carefree here and it was so nice as she was so captivated by the way it looked that it had not dawned on her that some of the most pretty places held the darkest secrets just waiting to unfold. As she walked the sand under her feet and in her toes felt good that her mind was for once free and it felt good to not really have to think about anything and once she was joined by Micah she felt like this was a right move. Not for romantic reasons but just time to gather was always nice. She caught a glimpse at his back and she would forever love his ink work as a memory flashed. MEMORY # ?
"Why do you call me Trove? I mean I know you say it's because of the memory thing but why really?" She had a lot of questions about it and the younger version of him looked at her and simply had said that because that five letters were easier and when you added him who was one to her whose name was five you got six. "So," she said because the feeling that she got from that memory did not feel good. "Let's take six steps and see what happens." She had to find a way to get ahead of him just in case he was lying about everything circling all around. "It's starting already" she said as she took one step and looked at him. "Slowly one memory at a time and you wanted honesty so here we go." She swallowed. "I am currently circulating around the number six memory wise and I know enough to know that a cube has six sides and your cousin Decipher likes to be called Rubik like the cube." She was kicking her wisdom in the behind right now. "What I don't know is which side I am on and how it all comes back to you Micah but I feel like once we are done here I will and if it is going to change us then so be it cause I understand that one can only hold an ace in their hands so long before it has to flick it away and play it's hand." She took another step and took a right around the sand's path. "It's a right we take here, my wisdom tells me so." Micah Nottingham

Micah talked a lot like an insane amount but so far he had not said anywhere near as much as he normally did but he did seem more interested when Trove said so. He had managed to pick up on the fact that was one of her favorite words when she was going to shuffle a little wisdom his way. He simply nodded because steps, baby steps at that were fantastic and he wanted her to know he was listening to what she said and following it without always having to speak words. His forehead wrinkled when she spoke about it starting already but his face flashed relief when she added in slowly and he nodded again. "I see," he finally said but quickly went quiet again for both of their sakes. "Well I mean as more memories come I am sure they will make more sense but this is so damn interesting to see how you percept it." Decipher was a good connection and not that even much of a stretch. "Connections which we have also discussed so far so good." He paused a second. "It's a good change not a bad and I, I would not just leave you out there like that. That is what this is for to show you how I shuffled and shuffled and finally stacked the deck to make sure that you kept your part of this I could never cut you off at the knees or whatever," he said as he easily took the right. "Sounds good right?" Cae Mire

She steadily walked and let everything around her simply be that because she did not want to over analyze and ruin how pretty this was but there was something seemingly just a little off. Maybe it was too quiet or maybe the feeling between her toes was too smooth. She listened to Micah and got a shudder down her spine as he spoke and she blinked rapidly as she walked. "Mmhm," she said as they walked and made the left and as soon as they did more than she expected flashed through her mind. Younger Cae blinked as she ate the apple making sure not to hit the core because she had heard all too well about what happened to girls who swallowed seeds and besides that she had been getting better at dinging the bucket with her shots as she threw the apple in and got up.
The day was rainy and caused her to have to stay in but she did not mind as she sat down and looked over her writing. It was mostly scribbles and nonsense but for a girl on the verge of her teenage years she was still proud that it was something other than hearts. Every memory lately hurt her emotions because they were starting to be deeper and she was becoming wiser through experiences and memories and though it was for her own benefit it did not mean that it did not make her feel like she was losing the innocent side of herself at least that was how she had first seen it but now not so much. "All sounds good to me" she said as she put her finger against her nose and shook her head as she spoke. "I guess I will be the first to ask" she said before following up. "You see the small waves and how the length of them seems to be getting bigger as far as water goes, do you find it as exciting as I do?" Micah Nottingham

He listened and he actually thought if only it were that simple that if only someone could get what they wanted without thinking about it so much then the world itself woudl be so much better but no one had to be careful because it was just how life was. "Well I will keep that in mind and go as simple as I can on anything but for now I just want the both of us to be able to take this in so I am not doing anything, I literally do not have anything planned and decided that for once I would let you take the reigns and lead me on a fun and not too dangerous adventure." He let out a long sigh and turned towards the water and he nodded. "I see what you did there," he said as he looked out. "It's good but it could use a little something to go with it. I mean it's one thing to look at it and see it how you do and it's a whole different thing to look at it and see it how I do but we're close enough that I think we can get started." He reached down and waddled out towards the water, reaching the edge and standing up as he looked back at her. "All I can think of is how my family has always been about balance and how that applies to me too, how everything about me starts at my feet too, it just does not get pointed out as much as Ribbon but sometimes you know one thing I have learned is that you do have to take your shoes off, get your feet wet and let the water flow through those nasty things called toes." She had thought as they got older Micah would outgrow his "unique" way of seeing and describing things but listening to him and watching him she knew he never would. At least he had seemed to embrace it more instead of letting it anger him and feeling ashamed about it. "I do like the idea of going with the flow because it's less pressure for both of us in the end." It was not to say that sometimes you did not need pressure but she did not want any in a place like this. A paradise for just a little while. "Yeah a different perspective can change everything." As he started to waddle she shook her head but at least in his own way she could tell he was not fighting being here as much as it seemed he had intended to do in the beginning. "Well water is your thing and it is refreshing so you would know better than anyone." She made her way beside him and took a seat. "However I do realize that even pretty locations can hold terrible memories, isn't that why we are here?" Not all her memories were good but she knew pain was inevitable. Micah Nottingham

He took a second because his life was all about perspective but the truth was that he had ran from it for so long and even now he was but he at least was finally doing what he could in order to figure out why and being here helped. "For the longest I felt like I needed answers and I still do but then I realized as long as I was choosing to be the best version of myself then everything else was going to fall into place and now I can do what I want to in order to help your memories be, no feel easier as they start to come in more and more." They were getting older and he hoped he could help so that pain was less. "You would not be wrong in realizing that sometimes the prettier something is the more painful it is, which is why I am so glad that Ribbon got all the looks when my parents genetics did their thing," he said as he laughed. Pretty was trouble, almost all the time and no one would ever convince him differently. "So you would have preferred a more cold climate then?" Cae Mire

She nodded her head. "The best version of who we are is always changing which is a good thing. I think that as long as you focus on that and let everything else happen as it will then you will slowly also start to learn that, that is the best version of yourself. Pull from here and there but never linger too long on anything and everything else will fall into place as it needs too. I think that when that starts to happen you will see that you have very little that you actually have to do aside from just being who you are in the end." It was nice and it felt good for once so much so that she would say that it felt pure. "No I would not have wanted a different climate though if that idea is something that ends up tickling your fancy I am not going to be one to turn it down at all." Adventure was her mindset and she was not turning it down because it kept her mind alert and kept her whole life fresh at times and she wanted that more than anything at the moment. "Would you have preferred the cold?" Micah Nottingham
