She had no idea what the time difference was all she knew was that Micah would not seem to stop calling her so she had promised to call him back but first she needed something warm and awakening in her system so she could deal with her brother. Once she had brewed her herbal tea and tried to remember what he had sputtered off she dialed him back. "Micah, I need you to calm down and take a deep breath. I swear it'll be okay."
Why had Decipher did this, always doing things that she knew her cousin knew would make her brother go more unique than he already was. "It is just a piano and, well you checked to make sure it was not stolen right?" She looked down at her herbal tea as she waited for him to respond to her.
Micah was mostly sure. He had seen the receipt and the man had insisted but he just did not believe the man, not that he believed anyone much anyhow. "Yeah now that I have calmed down I am one hundred percent sure. I just, Ribbon I need you to come and have it moved into your place. You are never there anyway and plus I mean, I do not like it. I am more familiar with looking around and having very few things and to have this here is throwing me off. Plus I already had words with Decipher, most of which I am sure she ignored."
Ribbon could feel her anxiousness rise up which was why she mostly stayed away from Decipher anyway. There was something about a grown woman child that made Ribbon feel like she constantly had to walk around and watch her cousin and made her ribbons ironically enough come out of the blue, well blue. "You mean our old home that you refuse to go to?" She understood but Micah had so much potential if he would just go and deal with his past hang ups not that she was one to be talking but it was on him for the moment so she could at least think it.
"It's one and the same Ribbon, cut from the same cloth and I just, just say yes and it can be pushed away and put up and then Decipher can go there when she is drunk and learn to do whatever it is and neither one of us has to get involved. I can keep my focus on this new start and fresh surroundings and you can stay where you are and let it all go."
She did not say anything at first because she agreed at least mostly. "Micah I feel like she is really just deep down in her own way trying to help. Maybe we should be more like her and be sporadic and.." She did not even get to finish before Micah hung up on her. "He's such a spoiled brat," she said as she hung up her phone and topped off her herbal tea. It was not like she could sleep now as she stepped outside and let the cool air run across her face as she placed her cup down and afterwards began to stretch.
She heard her body slightly began to pop as she turned into a triangle yoga pose and let the conversation roll to the back of her mind as she felt her scales starting to loosen up. She let out a slow breath and shook her head. "Micah is so bad for my nerves, he drives my emotions as crazy as Decipher does. They are so out of the blue with their phone calls and often wonder what it is that makes me avoid them both." She felt the ribbon as the ribbon wrapped itself around her loose hair and pulled her hair into a ponytail. "Hey not so tight," she said as she thought about taking her hand and swatting at her hair but did not want to lose her balance. She changed from a triangle pose slowly into a tree yoga pose and as she did the blue ribbon loosened itself from her hair and wrapped itself around her right foot which positioned up on her left. "I can stand on one foot, I mean my balance is still a little wobbly but yoga comes easier because of my gymnastics and such."
It always happened, her having conversations with the ribbon. It still made her feel slightly ashamed but it was apart of her and in return her apart of it. She looked out now straight ahead of herself as she did every time that she was here because the water while she stayed away from it was still beautiful and inviting though for someone like her who still refused to learn to swim also deadly. She felt her heart rate jump a bit as she looked out at the water and that simple flutter caused the ribbon around her foot to fall on the ground and broke her concentration as her eyes flickered from the water down to her feet. "Almost didn't happen," she said as she picked up the ribbon and thought about Micah again. Leaving her cup and making her way back inside she dialed him and waited for him to pick up. "Micah never hang up on me again. Also, I will go with you. I think if we go together it will be better and such, however one one condition."
Micah rolled his eyes. "What condition is that?". Ribbon was a little thrown off that he seemed to agree so easily but she spoke anyway. "Just make sure you get plenty of rest the night before. Your eyesight is better than mine, no telling what I would overlook on my own but without you I don't have that worry, see you soon, love you." She quickly hung up on him because expressing any kind of love even for her brother made her shiver and she wanted to scream but instead turned and made her way back up to bed, speaking one final time before she got under her blanket and went back to sleep. "I will make him deaf in both ears if he doesn't come prepared." Yay for sibling bonds.
