She nodded keeping the smart comment that she wanted to make to herself because as much as she had tried to deny it, this purple fleshed woman standing in front of her had been a major part of her own daughter keeping that very thing. "Balance, an equal as I am going to call it from now on if that is okay with you is especially important for those born under the astrological sign known as Libra." She had never learned to keep her focus until she was older but even then it was too late so it had became a priority for her to make sure that she not only taught her children about it but had did her best to make sure that for as much as she could that she had did small things to help them keep it.

She popped her neck and took a seat in the middle of the floor and pulled her hair from her neck because even though it was shorter than she had grown used to she did like it. "I always tell people that it started when her father died but the truth is it started after that. She had been the rebellious type which was okay when her father was around but after it became difficult to keep track of her and Micah. You see sometimes it was because they worked together but other times it was because they worked apart and I swore that it would give me gray hair before my time but someone my roots always stayed in tact thankfully." The death had rocked anyone who knew Ribbon's father so she could see that and for once she actually was understanding Faye. "Though it's nothing like me and my tail because i had it since birth and never learned to see it as a birth defect I am actually following you. Everything that we knew and learned was great. Anyway I actually think that this might be the first time that we are on the same page."

She had a strange feeling understanding Faye but this was one time that she was not scared of it. "So it sounds like you want me to help you corner the rebellious part of your daughter?" She shrugged at the thought and shook her head. "Faye I love a challenge but let's be nothing but honest I am not one to corner anything I mean it's not that I want to try but I can not. I have tried I mean not the way that you have but I have and yet I have had no luck so unless you are going to hand me over some sort of instructional how to read and understand me on your daughter I am afraid that I can not help you but understand that is not that I do not want to."

She listened because as much as she did not like Mila when it came to her children she would work with the devil himself if such a figure existed to see them be able to be free and though they did not speak about it she did not feel like her children were free in the way that counted. They had a lot going on and it was holding them back. "There is no manual when it comes to reading kids sadly but I can offer you wisdom from my experiences of raising ribbon if you want. I think that would help."

She knew that a part of this was to trust Mila though for her personally that was hard but no one should suffer for it because at the end of the day that was her own fault, no one else's and she was okay with it. "To be honest I thought that you might be able to help me but I see what we have here is a common denominator of neither one of us really getting to know Ribbon like we should. Truthfully it's a damn shame but I think I know a way that we can change it if you are willing to listen to me and I you and if we can both work together for a short amount of time."

She ran her hands through her hair out of nothing but habit and then went on. "Life is full of elements, horoscopes, and shit like that, but at the end of the day we all only get one path. It's a combination of life events and beliefs and that is what we both have to understand about Ribbon before we get anywhere, we have to unravel it in a way but carefully."

She listened to Faye well it was actually more of a stare but the same effect seem to be applied. She actually understood what she said and then she had to throw in the stuff about paths and horoscopes and Mila felt herself wanting to cuss at Faye and slightly wanting to choke her but she knew that was not nice so she simply sighed instead. "You had me until you started talking about all the asrological bull. Horoscopes are bullshit Faye."

Her tail shot up in anger as she turned around and threw her hands up because this right here was what was wrong with Ribbon. She spoke but her back remained towards Faye. "You are using horoscopes and all that astrology crap to cover up the fact that at the end of the day you and her father were crappy so she had to adjust and now you are left picking up the pieces of a daughter that you don't understand because she is not a little kid anymore. It's not hard but unless you are willing to call this for what it is, which is feeling abandonded by both of her parents then no amount of horoscope bull is going to help her."

She felt her tail relaxing and shook her head. "Just because someone is made to bear weight evenly does not mean that they should have to all on their own. The moment you abandoned her and the moment that her father did being born under that damn Libra sign became nothing but a nightmare. Why are you choosing to ignore that?"

She thought that if they had a real conversation that they would be able to truly put all the bullshit in the past and let it fucking die. She could feel her body tightening just at the thought of doing such a thing but it was way past time and she was mature now at least in comparison to how she was.

It's in the past and every effect that anything that just came out of your mouth is going to have it has already had and I just want to live in the present that I have and yes 2020 is shaping up to be pretty shitty but that won't define you or I either because every time that you get a chance to breathe is another chance that you have to make the best of your life and if you stand here and tell me that you do not want that then I will leave but let's be honest this is one year that if you are going to take the chance to catapult into something then you should do it." She felt as if she was starting to get a bit religious so she stopped herself. "If I played weakling for you for one minute and let you punch me in my face would it make it easier for you?"

Years ago she knew that she would have said yes but actually having it pointed out to her she found herself wanting to shake her head so when it started to happen she just let it because she thought that if she would have felt better then in no way would she truly have ever let her in her house. "No Faye" she said honestly and it did not make her mouth burn like she had expected it to but it was probably because for once she was being honest.

"Hitting people that piss me off now is how I release my anger about everything that has been going on with my father and to be honest with you even if I wanted to be mad at you I don't think I could as much anymore. You have more than obviously beat yourself up over whatever this is that is going on with Ribbon more than enough so who am I to do it too?" It was the end of something that should have been buried long ago but she felt good about it because at least now they could start fresh and that was something that she loved. "So tell me how would you define me that would define Ribbon and thus make this shitty year completely worth seeing because right now I just want to go to sleep and call this year a wrap in all ways possible."

She was as surprised as anyone as Mila spoke and she could hear the anger leaving and what she figured was actual representation of words and feelings of care being replaced. She had no idea if she thought that it was nice but she knew that she thought that it was strange and it made her want to slightly kick her but this was as close as they were probably going to get to being able to work together so she said nothing but simply thought.

"Defining anything has to be carefully done because you do not want it to bite you in the ass and well let's be honest you got plenty back there for it to come back and munch on don't you? I never would have thought that out of all things that my daughter would have been into asses but none the less here we are." It was strange to her having to accept this all on her own but it had to be done if she was to help them keep balance as well which she was pretty good at so far. "I often wondered when I was working with your mother and father while out of all the skin colors yours turned purple or came out purple however one tends to word it or see it and then I realized that purple is some type of royal in a lot of ways." Kings and Queens type of stuff that made her shudder with uneasy feelings.

"I never actually understood my daughter and when she was little I thought that the scales that appeared on her would help her to understand me and in the end that we would be able to not only understand each other but get along yet all the time that has passed and we are more polar opposites now more than ever and I do not hate it but it would be nice to be able to sit down with both of my children and know that we could talk without hate lining the edges of the sentences that we speak to one another so maybe if I can learn to be accepting of whatever it is between you and her, and I can help you understand her then maybe it will help me and her. "That is actually pretty understandable and I guess I can relate because I want to be able to do that with my mom as well but I get the feeling that she is hiding something from me. I mean I know that parents do that to kids all the time but when I got grown I actually had fooled myself into thinking that it would be different because we would have our own ways of thinking and we could put them all out in conversation but with my mom being super smart it's nowhere near the same."

If it was anything it was hell. "Actually since we are talking about people that we do not understand if I listen and help you with Ribbon if that is what you are really asking of me can you do the same for me with my mom? I mean if not I guess I can always ask Parker but come on let's be honest you are the better choice." She felt that it was a toss up between the two depending on the day but on this day she was going with Faye. "It's like how do you talk to someone who is so smart that they end up having an answer for everything that you ask you know?"

"I think that your mother has been smart so long she has forgotten what it's like to need anyone else's help. The same thing happened to me once I met my deceased husband but it was not smart it was so caught up. Back then I thought that we were happier leaving people out but the truth was in the end it was probably why our marriage ended like it did because he was too young and still I didn't grieve as much as I should. I mean I put on a show for people so that it seemed like it effected me more than it did but the truth is I just dove into raising my kids and having them turn out the way that I wanted them instead of the way that we would have wanted them." She felt like she deserved that much.

"I don't think that Gigi has went over the edge unless she is extremely good at hiding things from us which considering everything is a true possibility." Shit this was deeper than she first realized. "One thing at a time Camila," she snapped in order to keep herself focused. "First Ribbon and then Gigi, say it with me so that I know that you believe it too." She needed to talk to Gigi first to get a good understanding of the situation herself. "Well I mean there is the real crazy possibility that we could talk to them together but I feel that Gigi would see that something was wrong and then Ribbon would bolt due to uncomfortableness."

She listened and then spoke. "Together would be too much. I mean you have seen one angry person then you have seen them all right?" She nodded at the comment about uncomfortableness and spoke. "Unless they did not know." She felt her tail giving her a pull but she was going with this none the less. "You got a recording device that you are willing to let me borrow?"

She had an idea but Faye was going to have to let her have control and she did not know if Faye could do that. "I need you to let me lead on this purple skin and all." She knew that it was a lot to ask considering that they still were not friends but at least at the moment they had a common source. People that they loved were going through things that they did not want others to worry about and yet that was causing them to worry. "Can you do that?"

She forced her tail down so that it would not give her way. She knew that her tail did not want her working with this evil woman but right now it was her best option so she was going to lay out everything while she had the chance.
