It was difficult to know when to start because the creation was easy but the blocks were difficult to break down because the truth was that she wanted gold, she wanted to strike gold. She suppose it had always been that way since she had first learned of the news. "Twins and with such beautiful minds." Then she had to step away and they grew up. She had tried to keep in contact with them and the boy was easier but she needed them both. Now it was a matter of time against her intelligence and she hated that but it was okay because this was literally gold. She steadily walked through the fields and watched as the sun beamed down against her dress and her heels and all she seen was gold. Gold not because it signaled first place or a finish but because it applied to the both of them. "Twins," she had said excitedly because she was smart enough to know that no matter how old they got, those two would work off of one another more than anyone realized. She fixed her blazer as she looked out over the field. "Gold because what else would she expect from them. Gold because the gears or nodes in this case were trying to disguise themselves as pink but she knew better. Gold because well isn't that what the key considered when there is only one that opens the correct door. "I swear I should have realized it sooner," she said as she took a seat. "Gold, 79 on the periodic table but more important than that, gold because it can be used in fillings and because it can also be used to protect." She couldn't believe it. "Gold, well because I had to dig deep but it makes total sense now. Hello Ribbon," she said. "Excuse me, hello gold Ribbon. Hidden in plain sight." She couldn't believe it either but there was such a thing. "Roots that can grow under water but the tips must be out at all times or they die off. Explains the fear of water perfectly." She then turned to Micah. "And you, knowing the whole time. Twins," she said as she looked at them. "Oh! Look at that, I just found the pot at the end of the rainbow." She was more impressed with the fact that she had discovered this while losing her intelligence. "I always felt like you would take more after your father Micah and this thing that you have with the periodic table is proof though I am not sure if it's a thing or a curse because well that's what it feels like being in your family is right? That is what you have always said in therapy and I can see why." She had always thought that when he spoke about sensing things and tasting things in his food that he would turn out crazy but she had tested him after being asked by Faye and he was in control of it. It was good to know what little he did speak in the therapy sessions that he attended were from a sound mind. "Don't worry no one would believe me if I told them anyway but it is always good to talk about it." Micah Nottingham/ Ribbon Harmony

She looked at Gigi. "When i was younger I hated this field. It had to be the kid in me not understanding what one could do with such open space but now it's not as bad as it seemed then." She looked at Micah. "However I have no idea what she's talking about." She was on the fence when it came to Gigi because as nice of a person as she seemed now, Ribbon knew at one point and time she had been different.
"I will tell you that I have heard about that plant before. My mother actually used to keep it but if it has anything to do with me I don't know about that. I'm going to go work on my gymnastics in the field and let the two of you have a few minutes and then Micah and I will switch out." The gold coloring here was pleasing to the eyes though she thought as she began to tumble through here and there as her ribbon fell out of her scales, leaving a trail of colorless ribbon in her trail. "I love how this is endless" she yelled back. It felt nice to finally be able to unravel and unwind without consequences.

He on the other hand chose to stay seated as he watched his sister began to tumble. "It's been so long since she has done gymnastics it's good to know that she still has it," he said as he picked up some of the colorless ribbon and began to fiddle with it, in between his hands. He looked at Gigi. "You know I believe if you keep it up you might not forget as much as you think that you might and that is what will be important." He tossed the colorless ribbon now up into the sky and watched as the rays from the sun and the field began to shine through the ribbon.
"So while she's doing gymnastics tell me what you have learned if anything about her scales. I suppose I can hand this over to you now for you to examine sooner rather than later hopefully. As you told me after her surgery the emotions that were felt during that time did tie into the ribbons which is why the colors come out as they do because even though they are just idioms they hold emotions with them. However I do believe that her feelings are beginning to become more processed thus more flushed out. This will not change the colors that come out of her ribbons but make them brighter." He had given thought to this and stayed within the parameters of her ribbon manipulation. "As for me, well you know I like brightness. The twinkle of the stars and what not so everything is right on course as I said it would be."

She watched Ribbon and smiled. "That gymnastics is going to come in handy sooner than she realizes and yes so far you have been exceptionally well at keeping your word which I love." She felt the wind slightly blow through the field and spoke. "You know that eventually no matter how much you sit on something the truth will come out so while she's off doing that you can tell me. I would like to know the truth before I lose all of my intelligence but you can tell me when you feel it is right. I made you something by the way." She pulled her purse open and handed him a pair of small earbuds. "You can use these to help your perception. They will slightly magnify your hearing in case it starts to go out and keep you at a constant rate of being able to use your enhanced perception at it's fullest unless of course you sustain injury and etc." She knew that a lot had happened but still it was not too much to take in. "As for Ribbon, will you be able to take care of that once I give this phone an upgrade?" Micah Nottingham

"She doesn't need to be taken care of." It was hard for him not to get upset over it but he was getting better at it and for that he was glad. "She just needs to be let be wild and free without so many people thinking that she is going to lose her shit or not maintain her mentality. The world is fickle and if you're not in the circle then you get a lot of looks and I don't want her to have to experience that." He was tired of it too because it happened a lot and right now he wanted that to be the last thing that he had to worry about. "I just need the phone to have a connection to her. It seems almost impossible but if anyone could have a way around it I am sure that you can figure one out."
His idea was to keep having her use that intelligence and hopefully that would keep her from losing it. "How are you now though still good? Still adjusting, still avoiding? You know that no matter what you can't avoid it forever right? Just like the world spinning everything is going to continue to go on."

She looked at him. "Neither can you," she said as she took the phone and put it in her purse and pulled out a laser pointer. "I know that you know what this is so I'm going to skip all the details and just simply say pew pew at least that is what I think that the young kids are saying these days. Point being we're in a field and more than that no one is watching you." No one had been watching the person that she had helped created the whole time that he had been here and she was grateful for that. She stood up and let her feet out of her shoes and then cut the laser pointer on. "You know one thing that I learned from your mother Micah? That there is indeed one way to skin a cat so we're going to try something and you're just going to react how you would naturally. No forced ways because you think that the government has eyes on you or any of that crazy talk." Someone had told her that aliens had pretty much been confirmed lately but she refused to believe that. "Don't do it for me, do it for your sister because if you don't she's going to out tumble you without even trying." She took a minute to lean into him because she would always choose him over his sister who was just too flashy for absolutely no reason. She decided to start slow and put the pointer on the field. "Look at it Micah, it's okay." Micah Nottingham

He thought that it was some form of cheating but he did look out at the dot. "I'm not afraid to look at it Gigi. I just don't know what you are expecting from me." He smiled. "I mean I will admit my sister and I have just a little, small really bit more potential than we have shown but it's not earth shattering at all." Super intelligent people were always harder to trick. "We also have awkward ways about us but who does not at this point."
He smiled. "Can I see it? I mean I like cats but it does not mean that you are going to get me to perform leaps and bounds over anything. Back when Balthier was doing this he did and he tried his best to teach me that as well but I'm too timid. I mean even you should know that I have a slight issue speaking up and at the end of the day I know what I want to do but my execution of it is poorly timed at best right? It's why I had invited you out to the field in the first place but your perspective is on the wrong person. It's always been Ribbon though many people seem to forget that just because she plays being shy so well."

"What you call shy, I call fragile." She had no idea if the two went hand in hand but at the end of the day that was what she seen when she looked at Ribbon. It was not a case of shy or even being raised by shy parents but more a state of frailness. She handed him the pointer and spoke. "I made a model of scales back when I lived in Atlanta because it was interesting to me just how much weight you could put on them before they tipped over. I however do not think that logic follows Ribbon at least not in the way that I am used to seeing it." She turned to face him. "Weight can have a lot of meanings but as I told your mom and Parker a lot of this is tied to her emotions. You are not going to want to hear this but we need to hypnotize her because it is the only way that I can get to her deepest memories. Micah it does not take a genius to see that she cleared everything that made her any part of the girl that she was while your father was alive but at the same time, those are the memories that I need if you really want me to make sure that your mom won't drown her by putting too much pressure on her." She would let it go if he said no but she wanted to be honest. "I need to do it with you two so maybe the two of you could do it together. You avoid it pretty good too but you did not go so far as to legally change your name thus seemingly changing your destiny so you can see where I am going with this right?" Micah Nottingham

He shook his head. "Uhm, don't you mean that when you look at me you think that I am avoiding it but I am not avoiding anything." That was the one thing that he seen when he looked at Gigi and Trove. The both of them always seemed to have a way of thinking that he was hiding something when the truth was what could he have to hide? He was awkward and more than that if he needed something he had been taught to ask. "I got nothing to hide," he said as he looked at Ribbon.
"You know that old saying about barking up the wrong tree?" He was aware that her smarts were going but it was a saying that had been around for a long time so maybe she could still remember. "If I remember what it's suppose to mean correctly it simply means that someone could be so close to something but so far away at the same time because what they are after is close but they will never be able to get it right because it's the wrong tree, or maybe in terms that you will understand subject in this case." It should be no secret and or surprise to him that his sister had always carried most of the weight when it came to the whole family dynamic that was the Nottinghams. "Ribbon is older than me but neither one of us were planned, but she is older because she came out first. Anyway if you need the both of us then that is just what you will get."

"It's good to know that you have outgrown the defiant stage." She had to admit that was impressive. Most of the males that she had known that you wanted something from expected you to beg them and when she first started learning how to play the game she had done just that. There had even been a couple of times where she had begged for her life but then she became less defiant and smarter. It became more about making the correct moves and less about being right in the current situation. "I will admit though that you are the one who taught me to learn to look at the big picture during your solo therapy sessions." She had thought at first when she had realized that it was happening that it was strange to learn something from a client when in the therapy situation she was the one who was supposed to know everything but it had happened. "Learning and observing from others is never bad but I do not need to tell you that." She turned her attention to Ribbon who was off in the field. "I refuse to believe that as you put it I am barking up the wrong tree." She knew that he was the one with the goods on perception but still she was smart and she honestly thought that the two while different still were cut from the same cloth. "I think that the tree has different branches that this one, your side is the one I am meant to solve so I will bark loudly until you do something to prove without a shadow of any doubt in this mind of mine that I am wrong."
