ABILITIES: Perfect Accuracy: If Krackshot can see it or be directed to it, he can hit it. He always, ALWAYS hits his target. No matter what he's using, be it a sniper rifle to a peanut, if he throws it, he'l hit it. This extends to throwing himself as well, he never misjudges a jump, always making it where he intended in the time he intended, unless something interferes.
SKILLS: While accuracy training was never a concern, Krackshot was trained in the proper use of most types of weaponry, especially firearms and projectile weapons of all types. His time in the military before Aegis gave him basic martial arts training, and because of his powers he received significant stealth training as well, making him well suited to get into, around, and behind enemy lines. He was able to adapt a lot of those principles to urban settings.
Krackshot also has a lot of training and experience handling dangerous situations involving superheroes, due to his many years serving as one of the founding members and pillars of Aegis.
He's fluent and learned several languages, including multiple forms of sign language. He's fairly well versed in technology, more than would be expected for someone of his age.
WEAKNESSES: Aside from being able to win a bundle at darts off of anyone who doesn't know him, his powers aren't that useful outside of combat scenarios. His physiology is human aside from the perfect accuracy, and as such he's starting to experience some of the effects of old age, even though he's kept himself relatively fit.
If Krackshot can't see or be directed to the location of his target, he can't hit it. He has to have something he's aiming at, either something he can see, or a point in space that he's been directed to. After he's loosed the shot, he can't change it's trajectory. He's not telekinetic. If something interferes before the shot hits it's target, the shot will miss. It will still hit the point in space that Krackshot was aiming for and corrected for and predicted, but there are rare times when something Krackshot couldn't possibly predict interferes with his shot.
He also has an incredibly nasty habit of procrastination when it comes to paperwork.

Appearance
GENERAL: Bradley Adams looks his age, having seen quite a few years. His hair is grey and is kept fairly closely cropped, and his eyes are a deep green. He stands about an even six feet tall, and retains an extremely fit physique. He's no bodybuilder, but he's got the build and tone expected of an athlete who works himself regularly. He walks with determination and purpose wherever he goes. In his civilian garb, he has a tendency to wear a wide variety of plain, single-color shirts, often turtlenecks if the weather cooperates, and slacks or jeans to fit the task at hand. Again, weather permitting, he will wear a long coat, such as a trench coat or duster, in a tan or black to complement a dark or light shirt respectively.
COSTUME: The Krackshot Kid's original outfit is something that embarrasses him to this day. A military-style bib-front jacket covered his torso, and his lower half was covered by tights and pixie shorts. A short half-cape hung down over his shoulders, and a pair of cavalier boots protected his feet, and cuffed gloves shielded his shooting hands. All of this was topped off with a domino mask. Taking a patriotic inspiration, the colors of his suit were red, white and blue. This outfit is currently on display in Astaria museum.
His current field uniform uses a similar jacket and domino mask, but in much more muted colors, closer to a navy or a black and a deep maroon rather than a bright blue or red, and white was eliminated entirely. The jacket extends down into more of a bib-front duster. The tights and pixie shorts were replaced with pants, of course, and the gloves and boots were replaced with more practical, military versions. that eliminated the large cuffs.

Personality
Bradley has been in the hero business a long time, and he's seen a lot. However, that hasn't broken his spirit and made him cynical, rather it's tempered what was a youthful exuberance and optimism into a more realistic, even-keeled, and understanding personality. While on the job, he's got a drive to get things done right, and isn't easily frustrated. This might surprise people who see him outside of uniform, where he's a lot more laid back and relaxed.
While other Pillars might be more stringent about the rules, he's the one who is more likely to bend them a bit. To him, rules are important guidelines that should be followed most of the time, but there are situations that come up that involve folloing the spirit, rather than the letter of the law.
He has a particular soft spot for young heroes, having started as one himself, and while they can't join Aegis until they reach the age of 18, Krackshot's "unofficial" stance is that they should help where they can, but to stay out of big situations so they don't get hurt.

History
Bradley Alans was born and raised near Cody, Wyoming. Born on July 9th, 1957, He was a kid who had dreams of adventure, fighting to save the world from evil people who threatened it. Around the age of ten, his powers manifested, and he put them to work rather quickly, getting a part-time job as an exhibitionist at the Buffalo Bill Cody museum. His impeccable accuracy meant he could make amazing trick shots that wowed crowds, and this satisfied him for a few years. In early 1970, at the age of 13, he decided enough was enough. The Vietnam War had been going on nearly his entire life, and it increasingly seemed like nobody was able to do anything, and people just kept dying. So he and his good friend Madeline Voclain, a girl around his same age who had a wide variety of vision based powers, snuck off, enlisted with false information, and got themselves sent down to 'Nam.
While in Nam, the found out that things weren't always as black and white as stories suggest, and began using their powers to help anyone and everyone they could. This got them the attention of Colonel John Elsven, Olivia Wilhelm, known to the public only as Void, and Jacob Kingsley, better known to the public as Titan, three other people also deployed to Vietnam who were doing their best to use their abilities to protect everyone they could. The five of them decided that the world needed people willing to be a shield to protect the innocent, and together they forged Aegis.
Bradley was called the Krackshot Kid, and Madeline hid her identity behind the codename Vista. When the UN officially recognized Aegis later that year, and they became an international sensation and began to expand their ranks, Bradley, craving the fame and recognition because of his young age, and despite all the adults' instructions to the contrary, revealed his identity publicly alongside Titan and Colonel. Void and Vista kept their true names and faces secret.
Even though Bradley's identity was public and Vista's was not, they still maintained a relationship. One night, in 1975, when Bradley was 17 and Madeline was 16, they snuck some alcohol out to celebrate the official end of the Vietnam War, had a little too much, and one thing led to another.
Madeline had gotten pregnant, and Bradley was the father. Both teenagers, and with Bradley's identity public, the potential for people to connect the dots, figure out Vista's identity, and make the child a target was deemed too great. Vista retired, appointing another hero to take her place as one of the five leaders of Aegis known as pillars, and left to live life as a civilian and raise the child she was carrying.
Krackshot threw himself into his hero work, but always kept tabs on Madeline and his son. For security reasons, he was never allowed to know much about them or their whereabouts, but he had a P.O. Box address and regularly sent gifts and unsigned letters with no return address. From the last day he saw Madeline to the present day, he always carried a torch for her.
Today, he still serves publicly as one of Aegis' five Pillars, one of only two founding members still in the position. He never got as much attention as Colonel, but he was always fine with that, preferring to work from a distance anyway. He still does field work, but in a more and more limited capacity as he ages. Someday, he hopes that he'll be able to retire and leave his position in the hands of someone truly worthy, and find Madeline and his son and live out the rest of his days in peace. But right now, he feels that there is still more for him to do, and it wouldn't be safe.... yet.
