He laughed. "Actually this is going to sound kind of while but you hit the naile right on the head. My mom met a guy and then she ended up pregnant. If I remember correctly they just kind of got drunk and it happened and I mean I never held it against him and as far as I am aware of neither did she but should I have kids one day I imagine it will be a good story to tell them." He walked until he was where he needed to be. It was a big building and right now he was scared.

"I hate this you know. As soon as I go through this building then if I fail will I ever want to try it again or should I consider it a one and done?" It was always the people who were so close to getting things done that never did. "How about you go up and pretend to be me? This is my first time meeting with them so it's not like they know what I look like and if they ever come into the bar you and I can switch places because I know everything there is about serving drinks."

He found it hilarious that someone with a name like this young man's was standing here talking to him about essentially cold feet but one the other hand he supposed it was kind of understandable. "If you do not go in there and at least tell them the idea then they are not going to give you permission to build it or how it goes but if you want me to pretend to be you then fine." He had talking skills from his father as mentioned before he had everything but the will to be evil.

"I mean what's the worse that could happen. Find yourself something to do and I'll be done in what two or three hours tops hopefully?" He wanted to be but he knew that sometimes business got drug out no matter how hard you tried not to have it do so. He took the papers and made his way in and the smell of the uppity and rich hit him but it was okay as he ran a head through his hair. "Mr. Ashworth here for my appointment," he said as he straightened his out fit a little bit and waited to see which direction they wanted him to go. "Thank you," he said as he made his way in. He knew that it did not have to be the greatest performance of his life but he knew it had to be pretty close.

He was a little surprised when the guy went in and was what he assumed was going ahead with the plan. He was nervous though and he knew the longer that the meeting with the more nervous that he would become but nothing could be done about it now so he decided to visit the little coffee shop that was just a couple of blocks down. He did not even drink coffee like that but he hoped that they would have something else.

He shook his head at the impossible length of the lines and stood. If it took him more than a couple of hours to get waited on he did not see that as a bad thing since it was not like he had anything to do now anyway though he did have a thought that if that guy somehow managed to nail the interview and get the loan he need to thank him. That seemed almost impossible to do considering that he knew nothing about him or his last name. He would have to ask him the next time that he seen him which was not that long thankfully. Once it was his turn in line he ordered a tea and realized he honestly needed to expand his drinking choices.

He couldn't believe how much they had actually bought into it. Of course Dax had the natural gift of telling people what they wanted to hear from years of hearing all the bullshit from his father. He was a little confused when he came out and seen that Cas was gone however. "The tall ones always run away," he qupped to himself as he thought about what that must have looked like and gave a slight smile. He walked until he spotted him and made his way in.

"Most men do not run away from me while I am still doing them a favor," he said cheerfully and more than that it could be heard that it was truly genuine. "Don't worry it went well and more than that I personally feel like you will not have to worry about those people being too hard on you. They absolutely loved the idea and to be honest so did I once I started believing my own lies."

It was weird. He had heard of people who would build the world on lies and believe that they owed nothing but he had never thought that he would be the type. "That better be some damn good drink," he said as he took it and downed a sip and shortly after spit it out. "What the hell is that it tastes like kangaroo shit."

"You've never had green tea? Of course not," It did not take much to see that Dax was some kind of strange combination of introvert and wanting to be let out and it was something that Caspian had never seen before and yet here he was looking at it. "People drink this on the regular now well more than they should because it's good for the nerves or what not, it's almost like you have never heard of it."

If he was dealing with a sheltered boy with daddy issues he knew that he would rather run back to his sister than even try to get to know him. "Look I did not run away well no I did but it was more so of a brisk walk and that is just I'm not good with crowds. I mean I never have been but it's something to do with my raising I am sure. Anyway people have never really done anything for me without wanting things in return so I briskly walked away but since it went well I guess that means that I will be seeing more of you then?" He really needed to be careful about this. "At work I mean since you are still coming to work for me right?"

"I just don't get the big deal about tea?" he said with more of a questioning tone than anything else so he shrugged. "I mean I know it helps people to stay calm and relax and that is good but if you're going to drink anything it should be water." He said as he looked around. "It is what we need the most of but to each their own." There it was the small things that made him ten times better than his father when it came to people. He knew that everyone had a choice and he liked that very much as long as they realized that they did as well.

"Yes I am going to show up, no reason not too you see. I mean if I did not then how would i pretend to be the boss once and for all. Plus I think that we make a good team even if our communication has been off for a few hours now, and that is no one's fault but we are all falling back into place and what not so that is good right?" He was trying to figure out how to do everything he now wanted anyway. "So what else are you doing now that, that is taken care of?"

He looked up at him and he shook his head. "I have okay well I have siblings but it has always been difficult for me to talk to people. I can keep apologizing for leaving you such as I did but the truth of the matter is I am learning what it is like to step out onto my own feet with this business and in life and I just need someone with patience who will understand not only what I am going through but help me through it. I am hoping that since you went into that meeting with me that can turn out to be you Dax."

He had things about him that he was sure they would have to eventually flush out but everyone did and right now he wanted to focus on the positive side of things and that was being honest with Dax. "I was raised by a single mother with only small memories of my father here and there. I always wanted to meet him but according to my mother I was an accident so it's almost understandable why he would want nothing to do with me. I'm sure she called him a bastard more than once but that is life right?"

"What you seem to think is hell is something that I would have traded for in an instant. Now I don't know your father so maybe if we had different fathers I would feel the way that you do but I know my own father and he was such a bastard at times. He said that it was for our own sake but that is not anything that I ever believed in my life."

He shook his head because he knew better than to complain but it did not mean that he did not to it. "That's the main reason that I am here because I have had so much stuff drilled in my head that it is so hard or has been so hard rather for me to learn to stand on my own two feet and I am a grown man so I need to get that over my shoulders and being here and possibly working for you seem to be the way that I am going to be able to go about that so what I am saying is that I think that we can help one another and both benefit from it." He was glad to actually be getting all of this off of his chest.

The truth was that he had never seen or heard anyone with was it passion that he was hearing when Dax spoke? The truth was that he was not sure but whatever it was he knew that he was all about it from a business stand point and maybe something more but right now he knew that he also needed to keep his focus because if he got distracted then what good would that be. "I must admit" he said only after taking a sip of his tea. "I do like the way that you talk. It's rare for anyone to talk to me like that besides my sister and sometimes I even think that she does it because she is more of a bully than anything else but that is life I feel like any way."

He also did not know if it was something that he was comfortable with but he also knew that he had a way of dealing with stuff that others did not and a lot of times that included standing on his head and simply letting the world pass him by but he wanted something different when it came to his beer business. "Once I have finished my tea, we can leave and get back to the city. I would like to show you the building and such like that if you have the time on your hands."

Though he felt like there was something else that Cas wanted to say he was not going to push him regardless because he had felt like others had did that to him too much and the last thing that he would ever want to do was to apply that same amount of pressure to someone who in a strange way he had agreed to work for and more than that considered a friend as much as he knew how to consider one a friend that was. That was not a slight on Cas anyway and he spoke.

"I think that whatever happens is just going to happen. I was raised to not call it fate because we all have points where our life is good and our life is bad and it is not necessarily fate that makes that happen but something else maybe karma since I think that there might be a slight difference between the two but even then that is hard to say, either way Cas you have a deal."

That was something else that his father had attempted to drill into his head never make a deal because a lot of times people would take advantage of you just because you used that word but he wanted to carve out his own sense of being and that started here or so he hoped.
